Deep Well Monitoring Questions
If you have liquids 0-70′, the PTLevel Deep Well Water Monitor still might work for you! Just know, any liquids below 70′ are not being monitored.
Case Study: So if you have liquid at 50′ and below, you would input your “tank depth” settings at 20′ (70′ minus 50′), when the liquid level is at 50′ you would calibrate it to 100%. When your device reads 100%, you would have water at 50′ deep (or 20′ of liquid), when your level reads 50% you would have liquid at 60′ deep, and when your level reads 0% your liquid is at 70′ or below.
Our Deep Well Transducer PTLevels currently come in 70′ and 30′. They are designed to measure small and large tanks.
The wire can not be shortened, but excess wire is not a problem (just tuck the extra wire inside the tank).
Absolutely. The Deep Well Transducer components that touch liquid are made out of the following:
Stainless Steel Sensor (rated CE Certified, IP68 Certified, Intrinsic Safety Certification (explosion proof). It is chemical resistant and corrosive compatible to 1Cr18Ni9Ti and 316L
The wire is coated in durable and chemical resistant polyurethane.
Not a problem!
Often drilled wells have water sources that have salt, sulfides, chlorides, gases, particulates, and higher temperatures than normal. All of these “problems” are not problems with the stainless steel pressure sensor. The Deep Well Transducer PTLevel can measure any consistent density liquid.
